The Detox herbal tea is a blend of herbs that help increase the metabolism, gently detoxifies the entire body, clean the gall bladder, liver and kidney. The detox herbs can help purify the blood, aids the body in defending itself against infections and reduces inflammation.
Ingredients: wild red clover, wild raspberry leaves, wild birch leaves, wild horsetail, wild yarrow, organic calendula, organic dandelion roots, organic burdock roots, organic licorice roots.
1. Red Clover helps cleanse the blood, assists the body in removing waste products and toxins from our fluids and tissues.
2.Birch leaves packed with antioxidants, reduces inflammation, helps protect the liver, improves bowel and bladder function.
3. Licorice roots are considered to have strong anti-inflammatory properties, help the body naturally flush out broken-down toxins more quickly by acting as a laxative and aiding flow through the liver.
4. Horsetail boosts the flow of urine, helps to flush out harmful bacteria and toxins. The substances of the horsetail help to burn localized fat and help with the elimination of fluids that can cause weight gain.
5. Dandelion roots. The polysaccharides in dandelion are known to reduce stress on the liver and support its ability to produce bile. They also help the liver filter potentially harmful chemicals out of the food.
6. Yarrow promotes healthy functioning of the digestive systems, toning the stomach and intestines, and stimulating the liver.
7. Burdock roots contains active ingredients (inulin, natural fibre) which help carry out toxins from the blood. It is believed to stimulate the lymphatic drainage system and help with the process of detoxification.
8. Calendula can aid in protecting and detoxifying the gallbladder and liver. Calendula has strong anti-inflammatory properties via powerful flavonoids. These plant-based antioxidants protect cells from free radical damage.
9. Red raspberry leaves have anti-inflammatory properties that relax the intestinal and stomach to allow food to pass through efficiently.
Preparation:
To make the tea put 1 tablespoon of the blend with 300 ml. of boiling water, cover to stop nutrients from escaping in the steam. Soak for 15 minutes, then strain. (The longer the steeping time, the stronger the tea).
Serving: 100 -150 ml before meals, 3 times a day, at least 3 weeks.
For best results it is recommended that you drink plenty of water to help flush the body ( 2 quarts of water daily minimum) Also make sure you are eating as clean as possible a diet mostly high in fruits and vegetables. DO NOT consume processed foods, fast food, sugar, fried foods, alcohol, meat, wheat, and dairy. Remember you cannot put out a fire while you're adding fuel to the fire. Do your best and keep trying to make those healthy lifestyle.
