Western Redcedar Skin Properties:
Western Red Cedar is a sacred plant used extensively by native people's of the Pacific Northwest. Traditionally cedar’s medicine used to repel insects, molds, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Cedar is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and a natural astringent which could disinfects wounds and soothes inflamed skin.
It may be added to shampoos (50/50) as a treatment for scalp itch, dandruff, and to add luster to damaged hair. It may be used full strength to detangle hair, as well as a dandruff treatment. The hydrosol may also be sprayed directly on your pet's fur to help dander as well as to deter fleas.
At full strength it can be applied to dermatitis, allergic rashes, cold sores, inflamed acne, and other skin conditions.
Hydrosols can be used at anytime, they make great refreshers throughout the day. They absorb very easily into the skin, making them great to apply before and after moisturizing your skin.

HOW TO USE
Mist onto face, neck and chest after cleansing, or whenever your skin needs a boost. Your hydrosol may be used as a therapeutic mist or as a hair and scalp tonic, and can be added to baths or diffusers.
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat. For a cooling mist, store in the refrigerator. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Our Hydrosol does not contain preservatives.
